Writing is similar. There are thousands of writers. For many years, I’ve tried to mimic my favorite writers’ styles. I mean, who wouldn’t want to write like Lysa Terkeurst? But slowly, I’m learning that I’m not called to write like anyone but me…and although my writing lacks the polish of a seasoned writer, I can own my unique writing style and perspective.
A little bit about me…I live in a small Oklahoma town, where I work at Faith Hospice and oversee the Volunteer Program. Eight years ago, my Mom lost her battle to cancer, which impacted me greatly. My love for writing came from my mom who instilled in me a love for reading and the English language. I’m so excited to share this blog with you! What can you expect? Clumsy tales, penguins a plenty, and stories from my heart. So peruse away!
